Do you remember the website of Sangmyung University’s admissions office last year? Under the motto of a university that communicates with students, it expressed each field and direction of Sangmyung University as a game character, making it easier and more fun to access website users. Also, it has drawn attention from many people on the internet. On April 18th, a new website of Sangmyung University was released to continue the attention.
A new home page using games
The theme of the new homepage is games. This game was made using our university mascot, SMOONG. Also, it consists of three games in total. Among them, the first game to be released is introducing and exploring the university, which will be carried out in three stages. The first stage of the game is process of completing missions. We look around various colleges, departments, and major facilities on the campuses of Seoul and Cheonan. Through this process, you can know the appearance of the campus and experience the university in advance. The second stage is to put together puzzles related to our university. The third stage is to collect grades falling from the sky. After completing all of these stages, you can receive a certificate of completion in the name of the mascot SMOONG. Also, you can receive prizes through a lottery.

Sangmyung University has been making efforts to communicate between the university and new generations. One of the efforts is to reorganize the intro and choose the game as the theme. Also, this homepage intro game was also planned, designed, and developed by undergraduates majoring in games from the SW Department of Convergence. These students are recognized for their excellence through various programs run by the SW Center University Business Group, and I hope you will pay a lot of attention to the games that will be released in the future.
