Special Courses for Career Planning

  Do you have many worries about your career? The Sangmyung University Job Plus Center implemented a short-term special career planning course program for students' career exploration. The University Job Plus Center is a project by the Ministry of Employment and Labor to provide specialized employment services to current students by strengthening functional and spatial linkage and integration of career and employment support systems in universities, linking industries, and promoting employment. It has launched five courses: Strengths for career personality tests, Interpersonal relationship stress management techniques, Career development and bucket list creation for millennials and generation MZ, Exploring changes in hiring trends and career exploration methods, and Finding personal color and self-image.

Introduction to the Sangmyung University Job Plus Center

  The Sangmyung University Job Plus Center is an essential facility that provides various programs and services to support students' professional development and employment. This center supports students in effectively balancing their academic studies and career preparation, and it also supports successful career development after graduation. This place provides comprehensive career and employment services through one-on-one personalized counseling to assist students with career concerns and job preparation. It aims to help students set career goals in desired fields and achieve successful employment. 


Five Special Short-term Courses for Career Planning Activities

  Through vocational aptitude tests, participants gained insights into their personality traits and strengths, and explored suitable career paths based on this understanding. In the communication and interpersonal relations lectures, they focused on enhancing effective communication skills and interpersonal abilities, discussing methods to improve teamwork and collaboration skills. They discussed strategies for career development that reflect the characteristics of the MZ generation, aiming to enhance competitiveness in rapidly evolving job markets. The course on changing hiring trends and career exploration methods provided the latest employment trends and job market information, along with instruction on how to effectively navigate and utilize them. In the confidence-building course, participants practiced creating a confident image to leave a positive impression during interviews and various social situations, as well as discovering their personal color.



  The short-term special career planning courses organized by the Sangmyung University Job Plus Center offer a variety of programs for young adults, including current students preparing for employment. These courses cover topics not only related to vocational aptitude tests and career development but also methods for exploring employment information in line with changing hiring trends. Additionally, programs focusing on interpersonal relationships, such as communication skills, are also offered, playing a crucial role in guiding students in multifaceted career exploration.

  Through courses covering diverse topics, students will discover their strengths and enhance their communication and interpersonal skills. Moreover, by understanding the latest hiring trends and building their own professional image, they will be able to boost their competitiveness in the job market.
